Today's Polish Army Square (Plac Wojska Polskiego) in Bielsko-Biala is one of the two market squares of old Biała Krakowska. It was laid out at the time of granting the city rights to the town in 1723. It has an approximately rectangular shape measuring 100 by 80 m. There are interesting buildings around the square, whose present form comes mainly from the nineteenth and the early twentieth centuries. In the south the square adjoins 11 Listopada Street, which is a pedestrian zone and the main promenade of the city.
